Five Collections: Purifying Clay, Oleo Miracle, Solar Blonde Naturale, California Blonde and Salon Color Restore.
I had the pleasure to review the Oleo Miracle line and let me just say my hair has its shine back and feels incredibly soft and smooth. All the products in the line have three oils: argan, camellia and pracaxi which bring out your hairs natural beauty along with protecting it. The Oleo Miracle line was created to bring over-processed and damaged hair back to life! Sounds amazing right?!!??
Let me start with the replenishing oil because its my favorite from the three products. I have been using it a few times a week for 3 weeks and I saw results immediately. I apply one pump to my wet/damp hair more towards the middle to the ends of my hair because my roots tend to get oily if I use too much product. On days I just dry my hair and do not style it, my hair still has that softness and shine to it. When I style my hair whether it be with a curling or flat iron the over all appearance looks more polished and healthy. I adore hair oils and serums for that exact reason and this one does not disappoint. The smell can be strong. Its not bad but it has a perfume type of odor to it. So this may not be the ideal for some.
The Shampoo and Conditioner have the same perfume smell but because I saw such fabulous results it was something I was able to look past. The shampoo lathers well allowing you to feel like your hair is actually getting very clean. The conditioner does not leave film or a heavy feeling to your hair at all. So not only are you getting the repairs your hair needs, it feels clean (even with three oils). The packaging gives off a luxury feel with the gold design and writing while the product bottles are very sturdy. Overall I have been enjoying all three products but the oil stood out for me as the winner.

Does my hair look or feel thicker?? Yes! Just like my skin my hair changed after my kids. It lost its shine, bounce and overall healthy look. Unlike my skin I use multiple products on my hair all the time. I change things often because I can tell right away if its working or not. Since using the Renpure thickening Shampoo and Conditioner I can see overall results. My hair is shiner, appears thicker and looks much healthier.
The consistency is on the thicker side and is white in color. It lathers nicely and after rising my hair feels clean without a residue feeling. One thing that may throw some people off is the smell. Although I personally am ok with the smell it can be a bit overwhelming. The smell stays in my hair and I LOVE that! Even as the hours have gone by in the day my hair still smells pretty and that is a personal preference that excites me because it does not happen often with most hair products.
Would I recommend this shampoo and conditioner? Yes! These are most certainly #10orlesstuesday worthy as I say on my Instagram. If your hair has been needing a pick me as of late, for the price and easy accessibility you cant go wrong with trying them out. There are quite a few different lines from this brand (see them here) so I would love to hear if you have tried them before and your thoughts!!
When I received my August Allure Beauty Box it got me thinking. Is it worth the $15 monthly price tag? I am here to give you the pros and cons and will also go into detail of what came inside the August Box. This way you get a closer look into this monthly subscription.
The only Editor curated subscription box: I am a very loyal Allure Magazine reader so to have their editors pick out products makes me feel like I am apart of Allure.
5-6 products each month. Usually are true deluxe size samples and they have included full size as well
The Mini Magazine that is included goes into great detail about each product in the box (What the product is, What is does, Ingredients, How it feels/looks, Why the editors like it, the price and where to buy it!)
Able to try out different products for a fraction of the cost
The packaging: It comes in a glossy red box that gives this subscription a luxurious feeling
New Beauty Blogger? This is a great way to start a blog on a budget while testing and reviewing some of the hottest products on the market!
$15 monthly price tag where other boxes that are a bit similar are $10
End up with a stash of sample size products that never get used: This is my biggest issue right now. Allure offers a good amount of skincare samples. As most of you know I am going through a revamp of my skin care routine so I can not just try something out in the middle of trying to figure out current triggers ect.
Sensitive Skin? Probably not the best option since there are so many skincare options each month.
Expensive Full Price Products: Although I love beauty products when I see a sample of La Mer Soft cream that retails on the low end for $85.00 for .5 oz I know I will not try this because if I fall in love I can not justify this price point. I am all for beauty investments when the quality and performance is there but I am a very practical person as well. Case in point: $10 OR LESS TUESDAY on my Instagram.
Product details for the August Allure Beauty Box: All information provided below is from the Mini Mag that comes with the box for product reference.

I hope this helps you decide if you want to join in on this Subscription box. I will continue with this subscription for now as I look forward to it every month. My biggest con is the skincare concerns so some products are being pushed aside for the moment. What subscription boxes do you have? I would love to hear about them in the comments.
