MAC has just blown my mind with their new highlighter palettes. As a MAC fanatic I will say I am not super into their highlighters. Powder highlighters as of late just do not do it for me anymore. I prefer to have a more cream based. However the new MAC Hyper Real Glow palettes just gave me a new reason to love powder with their creamy formula.
Rosy Cheer:Rich Golden Bronze with Fine Gold Shimmer
Flash N Awe:Palest Silvery Shimmer Pink
Rosy Glow:Medium Toned Shimmer Shell Pink
Light Of The Party:Flesh Toned Shimmery Peachy Pink
It is safe to say if you are a highlighter fan these need to be on your list to buy and try! With a creamy buttery formula that blends like a dream, you can either have subtle radiance or a super charged glow! Three shades to mix and match, who doesn’t love a versatile product!

You all know I love a good highlighter so when Smashbox Cosmetics and Casey Holmes announced their collaboration on the Spotlight Palette I was beyond excited. In case you are not familiar with Casey Holmes, she is a beauty guru with 1.5 Million Subscribers on YouTube and almost 1 Million followers onInstagramwho teamed up with Smashbox to create 2 gorgeous highlighter palettes.
Two Shades Available:
Gold &Pearl: Both Palettes include three tonal finishes, two shimmery shades (Turn It On and Crank It Up) plus one super sparkly shade (Blow a Fuse). Casey provides pamphlets in each palette of how to tutorials which I thought was a very nice added personal touch. I do have to say I did not find any of the shades to be too glittery but I can understand how you can layer for maximum glow and who does not want that? Right?!!? The Blow a Fuse shades in each palette are more like a topper shade. Each shade is super soft and provide a nice shimmery glow that can be worn as a subtle day time look or can be layered for a night out.
Do you prefer to have a highlighter palette or a single highlighter? I typically do not prefer palettes only because it seems there will be colors I will not use however this collaboration was executed so nicely for different skin tones and for multi purpose use. All shades can be used as highlighters, eye shadows and brow bone highlighters as well. With each palette containing three shades in one shade range family makes it worth the money because no shade will get left untouched I promise!
