L’Oreal just came out with a ton of new highlighter products and I am living for it! One product that grabbed my attention right away is the L’Oreal Glotion. A natural glow enhancer. Sounds perfect right? Since I am into liquid products a lot as of late I wanted to test the glotion out first. All of the product claims scream versatile and I love nothing more than a product that can do multiple things. You get more bang for your buck and lets face it, its just better that way. Loreal Glotion is said to instantly hydrate and give you an all over fresh and natural glow. You can wear it alone, before or after makeup and can use for spot highlighting on the face.
$11.99 – $14.99 ( target wins with the cheaper price!!! )
4 shades (fair, light, medium, deep)
I grabbed the shade light and added a small amount all over my face. You do not look like the tin man. The glotion seriously gives a beautiful natural radiance. I added on some of my favorite mascara L’Oreal Lash Paradise, then I spot concealed with NARS Concealer and added on some gloss. I had the perfect no makeup, makeup look. Whether you want to wear it alone or add in a drop to your favorite foundation you will not be mad about it. Natural radiance is in style all year round and with 4 shades these are going to work on all skin tones!
Top To Bottom (Fair, Light, Medium, Deep)
If I had to compare them to a higher end product I would say MAC Strobe Cream. However strobe cream is not like a tint. There is color infused indeed but the L’Oreal Glotion delivers an illuminating color tint, MAC strobe cream does not give your skin a tint of color. If you have been wanting to try a liquid highlighter that can be used in multiple ways and want to try at a lower price tag these are a must!

Marc Jacobs Beauty is a brand I have recently tried. I kept hearing one good thing after another. With sleek classic black and white packaging, quality products and a range to choose from I keep going back for more. I am such a sucker for sleek packaging (insert my MAC obsession here). When I recently received the Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter from Marc Beauty & Influenster for reviewing purposes I was beyond excited! With summer approaching this is a liquid highlighter you will want in your collection. I understand this is a bit on the pricier side however a little goes a long way which means its BPAMC approved for a beauty investment and it is also infused with coconut water that gives the skin a hydrated and youthful glow.
HOW TO USE:
Apply to skin directly
Mix in with your favorite matte foundation
Mix with your primer
Apply directly to high points of face with fingers or beauty sponge
I personally love mixing liquid highlighters with my matte /semi matte foundations for an extra glow or even with my moisturizer especially in the warmer months and this one truly creates magic. Don’t be intimidated by this swatch especially those who are not too into highlighting or may just be starting to look into highlighters. It looks intense however the glow is subtle and its the absolute perfect shade of gold.
If you are looking for a quality liquid highlighter that will last you and go a long way trust me you want to grab this one! I have tried a handful of Marc Beauty products and have fallen in love with them all.
What liquid highlighters are you loving? I am always looking for new ways to glow!!!

You all know I love a good highlighter so when Smashbox Cosmetics and Casey Holmes announced their collaboration on the Spotlight Palette I was beyond excited. In case you are not familiar with Casey Holmes, she is a beauty guru with 1.5 Million Subscribers on YouTube and almost 1 Million followers onInstagramwho teamed up with Smashbox to create 2 gorgeous highlighter palettes.
Two Shades Available:
Gold &Pearl: Both Palettes include three tonal finishes, two shimmery shades (Turn It On and Crank It Up) plus one super sparkly shade (Blow a Fuse). Casey provides pamphlets in each palette of how to tutorials which I thought was a very nice added personal touch. I do have to say I did not find any of the shades to be too glittery but I can understand how you can layer for maximum glow and who does not want that? Right?!!? The Blow a Fuse shades in each palette are more like a topper shade. Each shade is super soft and provide a nice shimmery glow that can be worn as a subtle day time look or can be layered for a night out.
Do you prefer to have a highlighter palette or a single highlighter? I typically do not prefer palettes only because it seems there will be colors I will not use however this collaboration was executed so nicely for different skin tones and for multi purpose use. All shades can be used as highlighters, eye shadows and brow bone highlighters as well. With each palette containing three shades in one shade range family makes it worth the money because no shade will get left untouched I promise!
