TOP MAC PRODUCTS: MAC X ULTA

Dreams really do come true! MAC is now sold at Ulta Beauty and I could not be happier. While its currently only online it will be available in select stores starting in June. Most of you already know I prefer Ulta Beauty over Sephora as I love my drugstore makeup and their rewards program is so much better in my opinion. The fact that I can now redeem points on MAC  just gives me all the feelings and I am here to give you my picks for Top Mac Products to place in your shopping cart. PS for all my Ulta Beauty platinum holders out there I have been informed that just like all of the other prestige brands the 20% off coupons are excluded. However you know we tend to get surprises with those 20% off coupons so lets hope and pray  MAC is included on some of those. My advice? Stay platinum and keep your eyes open for that!!! Can you imagine?!! 20% off MAC…. I will just be over here waiting lol

Here are my pick for Top MAC Products you can purchase from Ulta Beauty:

Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation: My first first foundation and I have never looked back. I have repurchased this soooo many times. Its a powder foundation that settles like a liquid. Talk about easy application with a matte finish and medium coverage. I am in the shade N5

Prep & Prime Fix + Spray: This spray has a cult following for a reason and if you are not a follower, believer or user please please just try it.  It is packed with vitamins and minerals and gives your face the hydration you need. Not only does this finish your makeup, you can use it to enhance the pigment of eyeshadows, spray it on before your makeup for a boost (I do this in the winter ALOT when I am real dry) & I have also sprayed my beauty sponges to dampen them when I do my makeup at my desk and don’t have water lol PS this comes in a travel size and its the perfect place to start to try this product.

Mineralize Skinfinish: The shade soft and gentle is iconic however because I wanted a more bronzy looking highlighter I opted for Global Glow and this product is just perfect. I know I will be adding more shades to my collection. This product is a slow baked powder with a radiant finish. You can use it as a highlighter or an all over face powder for a sheer glow to the skin.

Extra Dimension Blush: New to MAC’s blush family this blush is very very special. If you are new here I am a blush addict so I am picky and wow this formula is fabulous. So creamy and blendable and looks flawless on the skin.  Per the Ulta Website: “combining the smoothness of a cream, blendability of a liquid, and finish of a powder with long-wearing colour and prismatic reflections”

Lip Products: MAC Lipsticks are my number 1 lipstick. I have tried numerous brands and finishes and I always go to my MAC in my collection or to MAC to purchase new colors I want in my collection. Liptensity is a new formula to the MAC family and I am in love. I can literally go on and on and on about them but instead I will leave you with some of my must have shades that are sold at Ulta.

  • Honey Love: Matte Finish
  • Lady Danger: Matte Finish (9 times out of 10 this is the ONLY red I wear)
  • Spirit: Satin Finish (totally underrated nude that I have made my mission as a blogger to make this shade a thing. Its perfect)
  • Blankety: Amplified Finish (go to nude)
  • Burnt Spice: Retro Matte Liquid Lipstick
  • Driftwood: Liptensity

Prep & Prime Lip: At first I was not sure about this product. I kept reading about it and how much people have loved it. I gave in and bought it and oh boy the hype is real. This is perfect for your matte lipsticks to fill in those little lines and to prevent feathering. I wear this all the time with my red shades or liquid lipsticks.

Mineralize Skinfinish Natural: My go to setting powder. Its a natural finish so its not too matte and not too dewy. This powder can he used to fix makeup throughout the day as well and on those days I just want a little bit of something to my face I will just use this after I moisturize. It literally wakes up my skin. I am in the shade Medium Plus

Eyeshadow X 9 Palettes: Small palette that packs a lot of punch and variety for you. These are great for everyday, to travel and to throw in your purse for those nights out after work.

Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 Liquid Foundation: If you ask my mother who has been so influential throughout my beauty journey she says nothing looks better on my skin than this foundation. I mix it with the strobe cream as this is a matte finish however its a natural matte. Its not too matte but I just prefer to have a more dewy glow. The color range for this foundation is amazing and my shade is C3.5 and that is why I just make it work for me because the shade is pretty much spot on. Per the Ulta Website: “A modern foundation that combines a natural matte finish and medium to full buildable coverage with broad spectrum UVA and UVB SPF 15 and PA++ protection. Applies, builds, and blends easily and evenly. Comfortable and long-wearing, it helps minimize the appearance of pores and imperfections, giving skin a smoother, more flawless look and finish

Strobe Cream: Since I just mentioned this iconic MAC Product lets talk about it next. It comes in 5 shades and can be used alone as an all over face product, mixed with foundation or on the high points of the face to highlight.  I love mixing liquid highlighters in my foundation and moisturizers and this is my go to. I prefer the shades Goldlite and Peachlite

MAC has always been my go to. They were the first luxury brand that stole my heart at 16 and its been 20 years and I do not fore see any breakups in the future. I truly hope this helps you for your next Ulta Beauty purchase. Let me know what you plan to pick up or what some of your top MAC products are!

COLOR CORRECTING: Hard Candy Cosmetics

Color Correcting can be somewhat confusing. What colors help with redness? What can help cancel out my dark circles? What should I use for dull skin? There are so many questions and so many products out there. We all want to achieve this but with out adding a bunch of makeup to our collection let alone spend a ton on it. I will say once you find a color correcting product that works you will want to stick with it because you see results! Hard Candy Cosmetics just launched a new color correcting line of products that are affordable and available at Walmart.com With these three products you are sure to find something that will work!

First lets look at what the problems we may want to correct and with what shade(s):

  • Redness – Green
  • Dullness – Lavendar
  • Dark Circles – Peach / Orange
  • Mild Redness – Yellow
  • Fatigue – Pink

Typically this is what you will find when you look up color correcting. My biggest advise is to first ask yourself, ” what am I looking to fix?”  For example some days when I put on my foundation I still see red all around my nose.  If this is something you also deal with then I would look into green products to help reduce the redness so when you apply your foundation its even! On the color week green is opposite of red so green products cancels out red on the skin.  My sister in law suffers from dark circles and is darker skin toned so she uses a deeper orange shade to cancel out the dark before she puts on concealer. Once you find out what your concerns are you can research what color will work from there.  Hard Candy Cosmetics Color Correcting products are sure to assist with some of the most basic beauty concerns like, redness, dullnes and dark circles.

EXPERT STICK:

  • 6 shades available (Green, Yellow, Pink, Lavender, Peach & Orange)
  • $5.00 USD
  • Creamy, bendable pastel stick concealer that helps camouflage skin imperfections.

This type of color correcting product is perfect for the redness I was explaining before around your nose or maybe you experience redness on your chin. Easy to use, easy to apply and blend.

Color Correcting
Hard Candy Cosmetics Expert Stick in Shade Lavender

BAKED POWDER:

  • 4 shades available: (Green, Yellow, Lavender, Pink)
  • $5.00 USD
  • A matte powder made with finely milled pastel pigments to help neutralize and camouflage skin discolorations and imperfections.

This type of product can be used before or after foundation. This will help with giving you a even toned flawless finish if you set your makeup with it.

Color Correcting
Hard Candy Cosmetics Baked Powder in Shade Pink

CUSHION WONDER:

  • 4 shades available: (yellow, peach, lavender, green)
  • $6.00 USD
  • Serum instantly provides weightless color correction of any skin concern.

I love this for under the eyes because its a serum base so it helps blend beautifully to hind those dark circles with the peach color.

Color Correcting
Hard Candy Cosmetics Cushion Wonder in Shade Peach

I hope this helps a bit with all those color correction questions. Since all three of these products are super affordable they are such a good place to start! Again remember it is best to start with what is concerning you. Do you have redness in certain areas of the face? Do you suffer from dark circles or even some blueness under your eyes? Do you suffer from dullness around your face? Once you determine what you want to target you can find the color and then your perfect product and formula that fits into your beauty routine!

NEW IN: Laura Geller Shine Stick Triple Benefit Lipcolor

Who doesn’t love a good lipstick? Or even a lip gloss that is not sticky? Orrrrr a lip balm that gives you soft and moisturized lips? We all love all three of these right? Well look no further because Laura Geller just dropped a lip color that has all three. Yep, you read that right. The New Laura Geller Shine Stick Triple Benefit Lipcolor offers 3 in 1 for the perfect lip! Per the Ulta Website: The pure pigments of a lipstick, the high shine of lip gloss, and the soothing moisture of lip balm to create an irresistible trifecta of stay-true, stay-put, pout-plumping coverage.

I am here to tell you this product is 100% the real deal.  You indeed get a 3 in 1 product and I could not be happier because I am such a lipstick and gloss girl. Of course you have to reapply but that does not bother me one bit for multiple reasons. One the product is not promising to be long wearing, they are so comfortable and I prefer lipstick over long wearing liquid lipsticks.

I have been wearing Honey Dipped that I am realizing as I am writing this post that I missed this one to swatch! LOL I will be updating this for you guys but below you will see the rest of the 7 shades swatched. Honey Dipped (shimmering golden nude) is your perfect everyday nude so don’t worry I will be  getting this updated. I wanted to get this post up because I stated on my instagram I would have this up this week.

These are not only so easy to wear but also easy to switch up colors.  You can use one of the nude shades like  Honey Dipped, Polished Peach or Champagne Toast for the day and grab one of the darker/brighter colors for your purse to spruce up your makeup for your night out with a bold lip! Day to night makeup solved!!! PS if you are wondering about the shape, I love it!

Easy Beauty Routine: 5 Must Have Products

With all of us being so busy these days we all want beauty products that will be quick, easy to use, effective and reliable. Now I know there are probably way more products out there that can make for an easy beauty routine but I have found these 5 to work for me and my lifestyle. In case you are newer to my blog I am a mother of two and I work a  full time job in downtown Chicago. I travel into the city everyday by train and with two kids in the morning there are beauty products I must use to make life easier.  Often I have 5 minutes left for my makeup or will do my makeup on the train. So many women do this. Crazy right?!? I love watching what others are doing to learn some new time saving tips from them lol!! I truly enjoy taking my time to do my makeup and hair but most days that is not my reality. Over the years I have found these 5 products will indeed create a quick and easy beauty routine or at least help you out when you just don’t have the time!

1. DRY SHAMPOO: I honestly wish I was one of those women who can use dry shampoo for 3-5 days to take that step out of my routine but I cant without my hair looking like an oily mess. However I can do it for one day and I will take that over no days. Using dry shampoo is your perfect way to save time from 1 day to up to even 5 days to make for an easy beauty routine in the morning. One I am loving right now is:

  • Eva NYC  Freshen Up Dry Shampoo: Its affordable for one and you all know I love affordable products. Its sold at Ulta Beauty and CVS Pharmacy  so that makes it accessible to many women which I appreciate because here I am taking about easy beauty routines so the products should be easy to find too. Most importantly it works, has a fabulous smell and does not leave any sort of residue on your hair. It has Vitamin C in it that enhances shine, moisturizes and strengthens the hair!! WIN!!! Another important ingredient is the Natural Rice Starch. This ingredient is a gentle yet effective alternative to talc or aluminum. So by using Eva NYC in the morning even if its every other day for me it helps save time and makes getting ready that much easier for me.

2. POTTED EYE SHADOW: This type of product is  perfect for that one sweep of color you need to look awake or to finish off a look. I prefer bronze and chocolate colors but grab whatever potted eyeshadow color that works for you. I love to buy shades perfect for everyday. Remember I said I do my makeup on the train sometimes? Well using my finger for applying products makes things easy for me.  A couple I use a ton are:

3. TINTED MOISTURIZER / BB – CC Creams:  There are so many options out there from sheer coverage, bb creams, cc creams, fuller coverage, aging benefits ect ….. I am just starting to really dig into this portion of the beauty world because I have absolutely fallen in LOVE with this type of product.  I do my morning skin care routine, take the product squeeze onto my fingers and slather it all over my face. NO TOOLS REQUIRED. Now are there days I use a small stippling brush or my beauty sponge to apply? Of course but the texture of this type of product just makes it that much easy to skip that step and slap it onto my face. No fuss no muss.  Here are three I am using non stop in my rotation:

4. 2 IN 1 PRODUCTS: Ok who does not love a good multi -tasker, space saver and all around hero product to make life easier?!!? I love simplifying life and when I can get more bang for my buck its a win win!!! You wont go wrong with these:

5. STICK CONCEALERS: I LOVE concealers. LOVE THEM!!  I have become quite obsessed with eye products in the last few months and stick concealers are just so easy they are a must have for your collection. This product is an important part in my train makeup routine because there is no mess and no fuss. I can apply the ones I own with my finger and or brush. Of course I love using a beauty sponge to apply any concealer but these will blend for you and apply easy with your finger or brush. The brush I have been using is the Elf Cosmetics $3.00 Concealer Brush. Yes you read that correct $3!!! Here are some stick concealers I have in rotation

What products are your go to for an easy beauty routine or just to make your life easier? Have you tried any of these products? I am always on the look out for new ones to try. Let me know in the comments below.

SKIN & CO: Luxury Skincare Brand Now At Ulta

So lets just get this out first. Ulta Beauty is stepping up their game this year and I am not mad one bit about it. I have always been a huge Ulta fan due to the fact that I personally prefer their rewards program over Sephora and they have drugstore options (you know I love my beauty steals!).  However sometimes the variety at Ulta is just not there for higher end beauty as it is for Sephora. Well beauty lovers look no further because Ulta’s  skincare section just got a face lift by adding in SKIN & CO.

So who are SKIN & CO you ask?  The Company started in 1928 in Italy when a “woman discovered the potent enzymes contained in Black Winter Truffle found in Umbria, Italy. Today that secret formula is kept in a small village in central Italy. They call it ……. The Buried Treasure” Sounds fabulous right? Well it is! Skincare has become such a passion of mine. Even though my skin is sensitive and can react to most products I still love to keep trying as I have learned what my triggers are or what to look out for. When I see results it feeds into my addiction that much more. I want tell you all about the SKIN & CO truffle therapy formula products  and give you product break down with my review.

Products:

  • TRUFFLE THERAPY FACE TONER
  • TRUFFLE THERAPY SERUM
  • TRUFFLE THERAPY EYE CONCENTRATE

SKIN & CO

Truffle Therapy Face Toner:  I have not tried many toners as they always seem to dry out my skin or have ingredients in them that will react with my skin (insert Alcohol here) This toner is special let me tell you.  With rave reviews online I had high hopes and it holds true to the reviews. Not only does this cleanse your skin it also does magic on your pores. I have combination skin so this means my T Zone on my face gets oily. Naturally my nose gets build up that I can feel when I wash my face ect. but after using this toner that build up has decreased significantly.

Per the Ulta Beauty Website: “Not your traditional face toner! We have created this toner to cleanse and purify the skin deeply. Formulated with natural extracts of Truffle, Calendula, Rose and Rosemary, we have created a blend to purify pores, while contributing the antiseptic powers of Witch Hazel and Sage to remove dead skin and bacteria to prevent future breakouts, and boosting the skin with extra antioxidants. A toner is an essential part of your beauty routine for healthy, youthful looking skin.

Truffle Therapy Serum:   All three products have this heavenly scent but its not heavy. The serum is a 2 in 1 product. It has a milky texture that gives your skin the hydration it needs to reveal more supple skin. However the serum sinks right in which then creates a matte finish and will serve as a primer for your makeup. Ummmm yes please!!! Who doesn’t love a beauty multitasking product?!

Truffle Therapy Eye Concentrate: Oh eye creams how I love thee. If you missed my latest skincare post on eye creams worth the splurge you can see it here.  This eye cream will be added to that blog post as this eye cream is splurge worthy let me tell you! The scent is just heavenly with a texture that is so creamy and hydrating. A little goes a long way for me so you know you are getting your money worth with this one! I have been using it both at night and during the day and I have found my concealer to apply beautifully. If a eye cream is hydrating off the bat its a keeper in my book.

Per the Ulta Website: “the Truffle Therapy Eye Concentrate is formulated to the hydrate and nourish the delicate eye area, as well as tighten and smooth for a more youthful appearance. Truffle Therapy Eye Concentrate works best as part of the SKIN&CO Truffle Therapy regimen to help minimize the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and reveal toned, radiant, healthy looking skin”

SKIN & CO products are all made in Italy and can now be found on ultabeauty.com and will be available in stores starting this summer.  I would recommend to check the brand out to see for your self. Out of all three products above I have to say the toner stands out for me. It really has given my skin texture around my nose area a big boost and no other toner has been able to cleanse and purify that area this much.  I would love to hear your thoughts on these products if you have tried them or what skin care products you are loving right now? I have so many skin care products I want to try but so happy to have had the opportunity to review these and have acquire them into my beauty routine.

NEW Pixi Strobe and Bronze Palette X Maryam Maquillage: Swatches & Review

The New Pixi Strobe and Bronze palette is  apart of their blogger collaborations they recently launched. Beauty Guru MaryamMaquillage  with Pixi Beauty created this perfect Strobe & Bronze Palette that you can get at your local Target along with a gorgeous dual ended brush to perfect your highlighter and bronzed looks.  Pixi Beauty explains this palette as “Bring a soft natural glow and sheer sun kissed warmth to the skin with this palette that helps add subtle dimension to your features … The highlighters give a soft glowing luminosity while the bronze shades help create natural definition” I could not agree more with this as the Strobe and Bronze palette offers 6 beautiful shades to play with. Pixi Beauty has a way of creating products that give you a very natural no makeup, makeup kind of look. I am loving everything I have been trying and this palette is no exception.

Product Details & Swatches:

  • 3 highlight shades
  • 3 bronzer shades
  • Retail Price: $20.00 and can be found at Target or Pixibeauty.com

Pixi Strobe and Bronze Palette

Highlighters:

Just like the single highlighters these go on like a high end product.  No shimmer, no glitter and no chalky textures, just a smooth finish with a natural glow. As you can see each one offers a different shade to meet different skin tones. They range from a peach, light pinky/ peach to a more pure gold shade. I love all three and have mixed the top two a lot! (I love mixing shades and products lol)

Bronze Shades:

Just like the highlighters the bronze shades go on smooth with no chalky textures and in my opinion do not look muddy or grey on the skin.  I am more on the light/medium skin tone side and found the bottom color mixed with the middle color to work for me. Just another reason what I love about the palette, you can mix shades to create what works for you. *please note in this collaboration there was another Palette created with Maryam for Sculpting with darker shades. See the palette here.

Pixi Strobe and Bronze Palette

I also want to talk about the brush that was created with Maryam Maquillage  and let me tell you its amazing!!! Any product that offers multi use to me is worth it and that is just what this brush offers. Its retails for $14 which is think is a fabulous price because you are getting two brushes in one. Both sides are extremely soft and perform beautifully to get a warm sun kissed look with a natural glow!

Per the Pixi Website: “Designed by Maryam of Maryam Maquillage to be an indispensible tool in strobing and sculpting features, this dual ended synthetic fiber brush applies and blends contour, bronzing and highlighting shades seamlessly. One end is a tapered brush ideal for applying highlighters and the other end with a flat edge is designed for buffing and blending, amazing for bronzers and contour shades”

Pixi Beauty products are quickly becoming a staple in my everyday makeup and beauty routine. Would I recommend these products? Yes and the entire brand! I have been saying its like a high end brand at your local target with affordable prices. That is a win in my book!

What Pixi Beauty products are you loving? Let me know in the comments below!

Eye Creams Worth The Splurge: Day and Night

With so many Eye Creams on the market it is hard to tell which ones are worth the splurge. Skincare has easily become one my newest beauty addiction next to concealers (stay tuned I am testing out concealers for a future post) When it comes to beauty I will pay a heavier price tag if it works. Who doesn’t love a good investment?!!? When you search eye creams you will find many articles regarding if this step in your beauty routine is even worth it and I am here to say in my opinion it is! My skin has changed so much in recent years insert aging and kids here lol However once I started paying attention to my skincare routine and saw real results I have become obsessed! Who else is addicted to skincare? There are so many products on my skincare list to buy……Drunk Elephant I am coming for you!!!!

Since blogging I have been very fortunate to have received different types of skincare products from drugstore brands to high end skincare for reviewing purposes.  With my eye area not having any real reactions to different creams its easy for me to test multiple products in a faster amount of time. So I am here to tell you the eye creams I have tried that are worth the splurge and are in my daily skincare routine and or in my skincare rotation.

Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado: I use this at night for hydration. My eyes have gotten so dry and I find the more hydrated they are the more awake I look and the better my concealer applies. Since its formulated with avocado oil this fatty acid helps restore the skin’s natural moisture. When it comes to Kiehl’s products you don’t need a lot of product so your money stretches ALOT!

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Eye Concentrate: Again a little goes a long way with this eye cream so dont let price tags fool you especially with Kiehls. The products work and last. The Midnight Recovery Cream is filled with essential oils that will help with fine lines, dark circles & puffiness. I like to switch this off with my Avocado cream. Sometimes I layer lol!!

Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm: Ok so this one is pricey howeverrrrr again a little goes a long way. I have been using this since January almost everyday for my day eyecream and I have half of it left.  Here is how its described on Ulta’s website “…nourishing eye cream that visibly diminishes signs of aging around the eyes, while decreasing the appearance of puffiness and dark circles. Alguronic Acid combined with vitamin C, caffeine, as well as cucumber, aloe and green tea extracts help minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and helps nourish and hydrate the eye area for a recharged and rejuvenated appearance” I will say I have seen results and it makes concealer go on like a dream!

Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream to Brighten and Depuff: I bought this immediately after seeing a YouTube review and fell in love!!! This will INSTANTLY brighten your eye area. I desperately needed something after my son was born because I was not sleeping and my eyes looked horrible. Its a face lift for your eyes no joke! It literally Depuffs and brightens. It just works. Period!
NEW Origins A Perfect World SPF 20 Age-Defense Eye Cream with White Tea: Another winner from Origins which is another fav skincare brand of mine. This brightens instantly, gives hydration and has a creamy texture that allows for amazing concealer application. Here is the information directly from Ulta’s website: “Help prevent the damage you can’t see yet! Origins lightweight, hydrating treatment with antioxidant-rich white tea instantly renews and brightens under eyes while providing irritation-free SPF protection. It helps defend the delicate eye area and neutralize the damaging effects of UV, Infrared Rays (IR), pollution and environmental aggressors. Plus, barrier-boosting edelweiss helps strengthen skin to prevent premature signs of aging. Oil-free. Broad spectrum 100% mineral, irritation-free SPF 20”

Olay Eyes De-Puffing Eye Roller: You instantly feel the magic of the rollers and massaging them on your skin feels amazing. My eyes do tend to be puffy in the morning in general but after rough nights of sleep (mom life!) they are extra puffy. You can see and feel the results!

Klorane BB Eye Cream with Soothing Cornflower: I was pleasantly surprised by this eye cream. It has a roller and is a BB cream (who knew that existed for the eyes??!!) It battles puffiness and dark circles and it does just that. This is another cream that instantly brightens and opens the eye in the morning.

Truffle Therapy Eye Concentrate:  This eye cream is splurge worthy let me tell you!

As you can see I have a theme here HYDRATION & BRIGHTEN! If a eye cream does not give me an instant lift in the morning it gets pushed to the side and at night I need to feel the hydration working for it to remain in my rotation. For night I have only found the two Kiehl’s eye creams to work for me so far. With day eye creams these 5 have held their promises and are in constant rotation. Viseart Theory Palette: Swatches & Review

It is no secret that I love a neutral eye look over anything else. I am not really into colorful eye shadows and can live my life using Bronze by MAC everyday if I had to  (see my Custom Mac Palette Here).  The Viseart Theory Palette in the shade Cashmere is what neutral eye dreams are made of! There are 6 stunning shades in this palette that can be used everyday or for a glam night out. With three matte and three shimmer shades the looks are endless!

Per the Sephora Website: “Perfect for the makeup artist, these colors are a new addition to Viseart’s range of mattes and shimmers, providing unparalleled coverage, pigment, and all-day, long-lasting color. Create a neutral eye look for day and evening looks with three mattes that range from light-to-medium tones, including one basic brow and crease shade. Use the shades for a subtle shimmery eye or for a sophisticated, satin-glow finish. Use the matte shades to fill in and shape eyebrows”

Viseart Theory Palette: Shade – Cashmere

Viseart can be found at Sephora and Muse Beauty Pro. The palette retails for $45.00. Now I know that can be a heavy price tag for some. However if you are looking to invest in a palette that can be used daily and is very versatile you wont be disappointed in this at all. They swatch beautifully as you can see below and they blend like a dream! Each shade is packed with pigment but are easy to work with. The only thing I noticed is the lightest shimmer shade had glitter fall out on me. It is not a deal breaker by any means but when I swatched it, I didn’t notice glitter but when I apply it that whats happening. Anyone else experience this?

I have oily eyelids and play around with primers a lot however the Urban Decay eye shadow primer is my Holy Grail. When I wore this palette with out my urban decay primer the eye shadow did not stay as pigmented on me through out the day. PS this happens with pretty much every other brand I have tried lol!  So make sure to not judge eye shadow quality until you use multiple primers or try all the ones you have.

Side note: a fabulous dupe for Urban Decay is the Wet N Wide Eye Shadow Primer (See Here)

Viseart Theory Palette

Would I recommend this palette or Viseart as a whole? Yes! I am so excited to have this in my collection and look forward to some of their new launches coming out. This palette comes in 3 different shades and has 2 more launching on Sephora soon!

Some Viseart wishlist items are the Theory Palette in shade MINX and NEW Theory Highlighter, Blush & Bronzer palette in shade ABLAZE (which is coming to Sephora soon. You can sign up on the site to be alerted). Would love to hear what you think about this palette in the comments below if you have it OR  What is your go to Neutral eyeshadow palette? I have slightly become palette obsessed.
